Salary: $26/hour Position Overview: The Engineering Intern effectively assists Manufacturing Management with various productivity initiatives and special projects. Key Responsibilities: + Work together with floor personnel to gather samples and discover methods to improve tool quality and efficiency. + Create work instructions where needed. + Manage and organize multiple priorities. + Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. + Participate in kaizens and continuous improvement initiatives. Basic Qualifications: + Coursework towards Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering. + Junior or Senior standing preferred. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills. + Must be detail oriented. + Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office ' Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint). + Knowledge of manufacturing and engineering processes. + Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
