Job Duties: Associate, Technology Risk with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Dallas, Texas. Identify and assess technology issues that may impact the firm and provide timely solutions. Work with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Gitlab CI to automate code testing and deployments. Work with Git and tools such as Github, Gitlab for versioning, and collaboration and code management. Work with multiple IT controls, including data integrity, exception-based controls, change management, entitlement management, data backup and retention, performance and capacity management, and system monitoring. Utilize concepts relating to information systems, networks, system architecture, design, information security, technology resiliency, risk and control governance and metrics, incident management, SDLC, vulnerability management and data protection in audits and network protocols, firewalls, load balancing and security practices like encryption, SSL, and Identity Access Management. Monitor tools such as Splunk, ELK Stack, Grafana, Prometheus to track performance and troubleshoot issues. Work with AWS cloud using scripting languages such as Bash, Python and building automated workflows. Apply analytical and data analysis skills such as SQL or Aqua DB Studio to create and manage databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL and cloud-based solutions).  Work with VMWare, Linux and Windows operating systems focusing on system administration, performance tuning and troubleshooting.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Information Systems or a related field and two (2) years of experience in job offered or a related role. OR Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Information Systems or a related field and one (1) year of experience in job offered or a related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years with Bachelor’s OR one (1) year with Master’s with the following: cloud infrastructure, systems, network design, and cloud migration projects; system monitoring automation using shell and python scripting language; Windows admin and PowerShell scripting; SQL and RDBMS and No SQL; using relational database and SQL in software maintenance; Linux, including UNIX commands to analyze, maintain and develop server-side scripts; major source control system, such as SVN or GIT; SDLC tooling including Jenkins or similar CI tools; using Gradle, Maven, SVN, Confluence and Jira; Scrum and Agile methods and tools; and On-perm network, service and application monitoring. Prior experience must include one (1) year with the following: interpreted languages (such as Python) and compiled languages (such as Java).
