Engineering Design Manager
Location: Qatar
Language Requirement: English (fluent); Chinese language proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in offshore oil & gas engineering or a related discipline. Design Experience: Minimum 15 years in offshore platform design, covering conceptual and detailed design phases. Project Management: At least 5 years managing offshore platform design projects, with proven success in medium- to large-scale projects. Regional Expertise: Familiarity with Qatar’s offshore oil & gas regulations, standards, and certification requirements.   Key Competencies Project Planning & Control: Strong ability to plan, execute, and monitor project progress, manage costs, and mitigate risks. Communication & Coordination: Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written); adept at working with multicultural teams and stakeholders. Problem Solving: Quick thinker with clear logic; capable of identifying issues and implementing effective solutions. Additional Skills: PMP certification preferred; experience in procurement management is a plus.   Work Conditions Base: Office-based in West Bay, Qatar Business Trips: May include travel to Abu Dhabi, China, and Singapore Rotation: 1 month annual leave Contract Duration: Annually renewable contract Working Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day
