Dock Operations & Reticulation Services (DORSC) Program – Garden Island
Join Thales as the Engineering Delivery Manager for the DORSC Program, overseeing the delivery of engineering services at the Captain Cook Graving Dock and across GIDP. You'll lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure engineering outcomes are delivered on time, to budget, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive engineering delivery strategy and manage end-to-end technical executionLead internal engineering teams and coordinate key suppliersMonitor progress, budgets, risks, and KPIs across all work packagesCollaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to meet project needsManage engineering schedules and resourcing requirementsUphold engineering quality standards and continuous improvementFacilitate clear, timely communication across all project stagesYour Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Project Management qualifications desirable7+ years’ experience leading engineering delivery in maritime or building servicesStrong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skillsExperience with complex programs, EVM, and digital tools (JIRA, Primavera, MS Office)A strategic mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomesWE ENCOURAGE YOU TO APPLY
