Engineering Coordinator - Hilton San Diego Bayfront

An Engineering Coordinator performs administrative duties including the coordination of maintenance and warranty requests, recording and tracking maintenance needs, typing, filing, answering telephones, taking messages, responding to and troubleshooting maintenance requests and other general office duties.

Wage: $27- $30 per hour

The ideal candidate will possess:

A minimum of 1 year of administrative or coordinator experience in a position requiring supportive functions.

Ability to perform clerical duties such as typing, filing, copying, emailing, answering, and responding to telephone calls and messages.

Ability to prepare departmental communication pieces. Parts and office supply procurement administration. Service and work order contract administration.

Ability to read and write English in order to effectively communicate with our guests and Team Members.

Ability to communicate pleasantly and effectively with guests and co-workers.

Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and other such programs.

 

What will I be doing?

Clerical duties such as typing, filing, copying, emailing, answering, and responding to telephone calls and messages.Coordinate meetings and recording minutes. Prepare departmental communication pieces. Parts and office supply procurement administration. Service and work order contract administration.Maintaining all records of facilities licenses and permits to operate including renewal administration.Assisting in recruiting, scheduling interviews, and training for new hires. Supporting the department with time management on execution of projects.Unifying and maintaining all internal documents.Respond to visitor and guest requests, questions, and concerns. Facilitate resolution when possible or referring individuals to the appropriate manager. Ensure all office equipment, printers, and phones are maintained and fully functional. Operational duties as assigned in order to expedite orders and deliveries. Installation supervision, material inventory, product delivery coordination and supervision of housemen on projects. Track hours spent by tradesmen to properly record capital labor.Opens and distributes mail, orders office supplies, daily filing, answers telephones and takes messages, makes appointments and handles office visitors, types correspondence and reports, prepares periodic reports, maintains attendance and project office personnel, vendor and other files. Responsible for general office support functions using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and other such programs.Assist with project functions as assigned.
