Reporting to the Maintenance of Line (MOL) Manager, the Engineering Change Note (ECN) Process Engineer is responsible for running the ECN process, which is key within the company and is required for any change to the many product lines we manufacture. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly work environment with a team that is dedicated and passionate about design and innovation. This role is located in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

Manage the ECN process which includes interdepartmental communication around ECNs, report out of ECN KPIs, input of new Assemblies and parts into our ERP system, processing production permits and process change notes

Have good understanding of the electro-mechanical design changes need to be made and why

Work alongside with engineering and quality teams to fault find, setup design of experiments and testing, improving Linx products and system reliability.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Process driven and proactive individual from an Engineering background with at least 3 years’ experience in working with engineering design changes

Experience in being responsible for engineering change system

Experience in entering and maintaining engineering data on ERP system such as Oracle

Advanced user of MS Excel and macros

Experience in working with electro-mechanical systems and/or 3D CAD packages such as Creo or Solidworks (desirable)

A strong desire to be in a fast paced and multifaceted environment with exposure to wide variety of projects and the chance to broaden skills and knowledge
