Engineering Assistant III
**Job Description** As an Engineering Assistant III for the ECS Hardware Calibration Team, you will play a critical role in maintaining and managing calibrated equipment within the F-35 test program. As a valued member of our support group, you will be responsible for overseeing the calibration of test equipment within the ESS test factories. **Key Responsibilities:** + Manage the logistics of tracking and calibrating test equipment within the test factory, ensuring compliance with scheduled calibration events and regulatory requirements. + Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment during testing, coordinating repairs and returns as needed. + Collaborate with program management to ensure seamless communication and mitigate the impact of equipment issues on production capabilities. + Ensure the safe and secure return of equipment to the factory, reconnecting it to associated test stations and obtaining necessary approvals from onsite security ISSO for equipment additions or removals. + Work independently and as part of a team to achieve calibration and testing goals. **Physical and Work Requirements:** + Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 lbs, with frequent lifting and moving of equipment. + Capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a team. **Ideal Candidate:** If you are a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. As an Engineering Assistant III, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring the accurate calibration and maintenance of test equipment critical to the F-35 test program. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + High school diploma or equivalent + Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. + Basic technical knowledge and aptitude + Good communication and collaboration skills **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Possession of an existing active Secret clearance. + Experience working with test equipment or in a technical environment + Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and collaboration skills **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $57319 - $91710 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
