Fitting parts you or someone else has made together for machining, inspection, or final assembly. Follow Engineering Drawings to make and assemble components to a high degree of precision and accuracy. Use measuring equipment such as Micrometers, Vernier Calipers and Slip Gauges. Use hand tools such as Mallets, Allen Keys, Spanners, Files etc Using both Metric and Imperial measurements. Work directly with CAD designers to understand customer requirements and understand strategies for manufacture. Ensuring the housekeeping and cleanliness standards are met at all times and to comply diligently with all administrative and procedural requirements.
