Purpose

Hold the most senior position in the electrical engineering department. You will lead and manage the electrical engineering team, oversee the design and implementation of electrical systems, and provide technical expertise and guidance. Involves strategic planning, project coordination, stakeholder management, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Perform equipment sizing and selection, alternative analyses and other deliverables.Support the engineering, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of facilities.Present engineering and design deliverables to project members, cross-functional teams, senior leadership, external vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.Plan, forecast, and actualize deliverable progress to support project reporting and schedule requirements.Identify scope changes and estimate impact to effort and schedule.Support proposal efforts by evaluating RFP scope, identifying list of deliverables and estimating effort required.Monitors progress and performance against the project plan.Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.Works autonomously.Prepares, reviews, and approves electrical equipment, conduit, and wiring calculations, requisitions, lists, studies, reports, BOMs, and designs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering.Ten or more (10+) years of relevant industry-related experience.Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.Extensive knowledge and experience in electrical engineering principles and practices.Advanced proficiency in electrical engineering software and tools.Ability to interpret and create technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.In-depth understanding of power distribution, control systems and electrical equipment.Strong knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and best practices.Ability to develop and implement electrical engineering standards and guidelinesExcellent facilitation, communication, and analytical skills – written and verbalHigh level of personal integrityStrong relationship capabilitiesProficient in both written and spoken English

Physical Demands and Working Environment
