Security Engineer – Third Class Boiler (Omaha, NE)A great opportunity for a retired engineer who wants steady work without the stress of a traditional engineering job. This role focuses on monitoring equipment, solving problems, and supporting a safe environment. The pay rate is $24.50 / hr (non-negotiable) with an immediate start available.

What You’ll DoEquipment MonitoringWatch boilers, temperatures, pressures, pumps, fans, and air handlers.
Keep systems running safely and smoothly.
TroubleshootingContact the on-call Facilities Manager when an issue appears.
Make minor repairs yourself or use FaceTime for guided support.
If needed, the manager will call in a vendor to complete repairs.
Safety & Customer SupportFollow all safety and site-specific procedures.
Stay calm and solution-focused when responding to incidents.
Perform routine and random patrols around the building and perimeter.

Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activitiesRespond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving mannerConduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.Minimum Requirements:
