Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Engineer - Planning to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing complex infrastructure projects, ensuring efficient and sustainable urban development in one of the world's most dynamic cities.

Develop comprehensive infrastructure plans for urban development projects, including transportation networks, utilities, and public facilitiesConduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed infrastructure projectsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, environmental specialists, and government officialsCreate and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plansPerform site assessments and analyze data to inform infrastructure planning decisionsEnsure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and environmental standardsPrepare and present technical reports, proposals, and presentations to stakeholdersImplement sustainable and innovative solutions in infrastructure design and planningMonitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines and quality standardsMentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall growth of the engineering team

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience in infrastructure planning and engineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) certification preferred; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plusProficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6)Strong skills in AutoCAD or similar CAD software and GIS applicationsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and WordDemonstrated experience with urban development projects and infrastructure systemsIn-depth knowledge of local building codes and regulations in the UAEFamiliarity with environmental impact assessments and sustainable urban development practicesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teamsExperience working in the Middle East, particularly in the UAE, is highly desirable
