Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.
Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Techno Functional Engineer with expertise in ECC and S/4HANA to join our dynamic team.In this role you need to manage development in an existing SAP landscape while also focusing on emerging technologies to deliver world-class solutions.
Primary focus for this role is Rebates & Incentives functional capability in Vistex, SAP solution design and configuration standards, and work on cross-functional teams for business outcomes. You will also need to roll up your sleeves to design and build solutions and stay current with industry trends. The ideal candidate will participate in development across multiple SAP projects, design scalable architectures, and build solutions that drive efficiency and innovation to align with the organization’s strategic goals. This role requires strong technology leadership, stakeholder management, and technical expertise to ensure seamless integration across a diverse application landscape.
This role will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of solution design in our current SAP landscapes along with testing strategies at the same time oversee and drive large-scale organizational change initiatives by implementing latest SAP technologies as we migrate to SAP S/4 and RISE. This role will also establish and implement functional and configuration standards and methodologies, product roadmaps, solution standards, and frameworks for application reuse.

Functional Expertise:
Ensure optimal integration of SAP with other enterprise systems and technologiesStay updated on the latest SAP advancements and recommend upgrades or innovationsOversee the Rebates & Incentives development team within the current ECC environment and key projectsAnalyze business requirements and design SAP S/4HANA solutions for pricing, contracts and rebates, including complex pricing models and contract workflowsDevelop and manage contract templates, agreement types, and workflows in S/4HANALeverage S/4HANA capabilities, including FIORI apps, Advanced Pricing, and embedded analytics, to optimize pricing and contract processesAnalyze business requirements and design SAP S/4HANA solutions for pricing, contracts and rebates, including complex pricing models and contract workflowsConfigure and implement pricing procedures, condition types, access sequences, and rebate managementDevelop and manage contract templates, agreement types, and workflows in S/4HANAEnsure seamless integration of pricing and contracts with other SAP modules (SD, MM, FI/CO) and third-party systemsExplore and drive technical change and innovation in SAP including exploring S/4, RISE and BTPSupport the integration with other applications like EDI/Vendavo/etc. related to Pricing and RNI areaCollaborate cross-functionally with BASIS, ABAP, infrastructure, architecture, and cross-functional leaders to achieve resultsDocuments and manages SOPs for software and information platform systemsEnsure all critical RNI processes are properly monitored and alerted and automate recurrent incidentsClosely follows the strategic direction set by the segment and executes on priority goalsClosely work with infrastructure teams to ensure a reliable and stable operationsComplies and enforce adoption of Solution Manager, Charm Management, HP ALM and other standard toolsResponsible for the KPI's and BPM metrics that support current and future Pharma business units on SAPQualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with equivalent experienceMinimum 10 years of IT and 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP ecosystem with extensive knowledge in Rebates & Incentives Vistex functionalityKnowledge in IP document setup and/or Calculation Buckets and its integration with SD and Finance modules, ensuring end-to-end process alignmentExperience with configuring Pricing components including Condition Tables, Condition Types, Access Sequences, Pricing Procedures, Condition Records, and Pricing Routines to support business pricing strategiesProven experience collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications and functional designsProven record of accomplishment of leading development on SAP S/4 HANA and other major SAP implementation projectsStrong knowledge of advanced technologies in SAP and automationKnowledge in developing and enhancing custom ABAP programs using modern ABAP syntax in an S/4HANA environment, adhering to best practices and performance standardsExperience with RICEF objects development, CDS Views, AMDPs, and OData services to support Fiori applications and business process automationExperience in RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP), Eclipse-based ABAP Development Tools (ADT) for development and debuggingExperience troubleshooting across functional and technical layersAbility to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersExpertise in change management and user adoption strategiesTiming – 1:00pm to 10:00pm IST OR 2:30am to 11:30am EST (to cover extended US period).
