Job Description

We are seeking a talented and innovative Engineer specializing in landscaping and public realm projects to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the implementation of sustainable and aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces that enhance the urban environment of Riyadh and surrounding areas.

Develop comprehensive landscape and public realm designs that align with project goals and local regulationsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate landscape elements with architectural and engineering plansConduct site analyses and environmental impact assessments to inform design decisionsCreate detailed construction documents, including plans, specifications, and cost estimatesOversee project implementation, ensuring adherence to design intent, quality standards, and timelinesIncorporate sustainable practices and native plant species into landscape designsCoordinate with local authorities and stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals and permitsManage project budgets and resources effectivelyStay updated on industry trends, innovative technologies, and best practices in landscape engineering

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 15 years of experience in landscape engineering or a related fieldProfessional Engineering (PE) license preferredProficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and GIS systemsExperience with landscape design softwareStrong project management skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary teamsExcellent communication and presentation skillsIn-depth knowledge of sustainable landscaping practices and urban planning principlesFamiliarity with local flora and environmental conditions in Saudi ArabiaUnderstanding of Riyadh's urban planning regulations and public realm requirementsProven track record in designing and implementing public realm projectsAbility to balance aesthetic considerations with practical and environmental factorsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsCollaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
