We're seeking an experienced Mechanical / Pipeline Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Oil and Gas industry, where you'll play a crucial role in standardizing engineering governance and enhancing project execution.
Role Overview
Establish governance for Engineering execution of Projects across all Business Units in the US and Canada. Develop and maintain engineering governance documents to standardize project execution. Streamline engineering workflows and optimize processes for consistency across governance documents. Represent Engineering at workshops and stakeholder reviews to identify process improvements. Facilitate training sessions for stakeholders on new and updated engineering governance documents. Drive discussions in stakeholder review meetings to accept or reject comments. Review proposed deviations to engineering governance documents as needed. Participate in peer reviews of key engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with governance standards. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including project execution teams from different Business Units.Skills & Qualifications
Engineering Management: Expertise in managing engineering processes and standards. Design Management: Strong knowledge of engineering deliverables across various disciplines. Engineering Planning: Ability to develop collaborative relationships to achieve project goals. Asset Management: Experience with asset classes and types, supporting project item libraries. Pipeline Design: Familiarity with pipeline design principles is an asset. Microsoft Office: Proficient in office applications for documentation and communication. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Time Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related) required. Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry required. Experience with Renewable energy projects is an asset.Pay & Benefits
