Joining Technology & Platform Engineering 

 

The Technology & Platform Engineering (T&PE) is a group of IT experts who are passionate about ushering PMI into a smoke free future through technology. What’s the purpose of this role? 

 

We are seeking a skilled and motivated GenAI Engineer to join our Generative AI and Automation (GAA) Product Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and enhancing tools that enable AI and automation, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Copilot Studio and related technologies. This role requires deep expertise in Microsoft 365 services, especially Copilot Studio, and a passion for improving digital workplace experiences.

 

Your day-to-day 

 

Design, build and enhance GenAI & automation solutions, including Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Copilot Agents, Power Platform, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Pages etc.Design and develop administrative and automation tools leveraging Copilot Studio and related GenAI technologiesCollaborate with Architecture Teams to design and implement solutions that enhance user experience and productivityDevelop and enforce governance models to ensure GenAI solutions adhere to agreed standardsProvide technical support and troubleshooting for GenAI solutions, including direct communication with end users and stakeholdersCreate, maintain, and regularly update all technical and functional documentation for solutions, ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance with internal standardsWork closely with the Architects, Product Owners, Engineers, and Service Managers to achieve Product Team objectivesParticipate in the planning and execution of GenAI projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goalsStay up to date with the latest developments in generative AI technologies, including Copilot Studio updates and best practices, and proactively identify opportunitiesExplore, design, and implement agentic AI capabilities to automate complex workflows, enhance solution intelligence, and improve end‑to‑end process efficiency across the Power Platform ecosystem

 

What is needed to succeed in this Role? 

 

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of proven experience as an M365 Engineer or similar roleStrong knowledge of GenAI solutions, with hands-on experience in tools such as Copilot Studio and Power Platform, as well as familiarity with relevant generative AI frameworksExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team

 

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft 365 certifications (nice to have):APL‑7008 / PL‑7008 – Copilot Studio agent creationAI‑3018 – Copilot FoundationsAI‑102 – Azure AI Engineer AssociateFamiliarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFE)
