Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: + Serves as the DWRLF project engineer for DWRLF construction loan drinking water improvement projects across the State. + Performs routine on-site construction inspections. + Performs independent engineering agency reviews and approvals of routinely submitted bid documents, contract documents, payment requests, and engineering contracts. + Performs engineering review and evaluation of System Improvement Plans and Environmental Information Documents submitted by water systems. + Performs technical reviews of federal and state funding requirements. + Assists the DWRLF Program Engineer and/or Deputy Chief Engineer with updating the strategies and goals of the Louisiana Department of Health’s Capacity Development Program. + Performs emergency response duties as directed.
