The Tech Automation Team is seeking a highly skilled and highly motivated candidate to support our firm's effort in the Automation and AI space. We are responsible for Automating firm documents and adding intelligence and agentic features around the business workflows for more efficient and automated document functionality. We integrate these functions and features across the firm into other enterprise applications using Pega. We apply best practices, industry standards, security and innovative solutions to solve complex problems.
This role will be part of a team that owns Pega Platform and Pega Applications and implements, executes, and collaborates across the firm to support strategies to reach short and long-term objectives. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who partners well in a collaborative manner to support our Tech Teams and Stakeholders.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Lead the team in Stakeholder Collaboration and Deployment Schedules according to our firm change management strategy, with minimal supervision, of assigned projects and efforts, adhering to the firm's policies, methodology, systems, and tools to ensure efficiency and consistency.
+ Utilize enterprise level applications and tools to develop, test, troubleshoot, build reports and work with leaders on continuous roadmaps and PI planning. Understanding dependencies and timelines while maintaining a stable and reliable environment.
+ Leveraging data and stakeholder input to identify key requirements and adjust the deliverables when necessary. Partner with the Product Owners and Scrum Masters to understand priorities and effort within the Agile Framework and to track and report progress.
+ Actively participate in the broader Digital community, including facilitating and leading when appropriate. Serve as liaison for the Tech Automation Team, as needed.
+ Drive and recommend improvements in Pega Automation and AI and industry "best in class" practices to strengthen change and communications impact and value for the Digital division.

+ Pega DocAI, a powerful feature within the Pega Platform that automates manual workflows, classifies, extracts, and processes data from various document types, including printed, handwritten, and multi-page documents
+ Workflow Automation and Agentic AI Agents, to maintain complete control, total visibility, and zero surprises.
+ Agentic Process Fabric, bringing the firms agentic workforce together with an orchestration layer designed to help reliably automate work at scale.

**Skills/Requirements**
**What experience you'll need:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
+ 5+ years of Java development experience, Cloud Technologies
+ Hands-on experience with modern development tools and technologies such as Pega, Dynatrace, Kafka, React, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML/XML, JSON, Linux, Azure, and common IDEs.
+ Strong software development lifecycle skills, including design, development, testing, documentation, and timely delivery of quality solutions.
+ Experience working in Agile environments and using tools such as Jira, Clarity, M365, Aha, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Apex, or Automation Anywhere.
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences; financial services and mainframe COBOL experience a plus.
**Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week effective June 1, 2026. Before June 1, 2026, candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.**
