We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineer to standardize engineering design execution in the Oil and Gas industry, ensuring consistent project governance across North America.

Role Overview

Establish governance for engineering execution of projects across all business units in the US and Canada. Develop and maintain engineering governance documents to harmonize project execution. Streamline engineering execution workflows and optimize processes. Represent Engineering at workshops and stakeholder reviews for process improvement. Facilitate training sessions for stakeholders on engineering governance documents. Conduct stakeholder review meetings to drive discussions and decisions. Collaborate with various disciplines to ensure effective engineering deliverables. Assist with asset management and development of asset classes and types. Review proposed deviations and change requests to governance documents. Participate in peer reviews and project health checks to ensure compliance with governance standards.

Skills & Qualifications

Control Systems Design: Expertise in designing control systems and network communication equipment. Instrumentation Specifications: Experience in developing instrumentation specifications and datasheets. Project Lifecycle Knowledge: Strong understanding of project lifecycle from concept to completion. Engineering Interfaces: Solid understanding of interfaces with procurement, contracts, project management, quality, construction, and commissioning. Cloud-Based Management: Familiarity with cloud-based project data management repositories (Kahua). Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Process Control Systems, Electrical, or related). Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry required. Experience with renewable energy projects is an asset.
