Job Description

Become an Engineer II - Software Test Automation at Thermo Fisher in Bengaluru, ensuring flawless software performance.

Responsibilities:

Build repeatable automated test cases for the application under test.Develop automated test cases based on existing manual test cases and feature acceptance criteria.Actively participate in scrum ceremonies such as story grooming and sprint planning sessions, identifying technical risks and alternate solutions to various problems.Contribute to integration testing, automation code reviews, debugging, and integration of complex code across multiple projects.Anticipate needs and problems while crafting solutions. Be willing to ask difficult questions and do things differently, seeing challenges and changes as opportunities.Be a highly motivated individual who is quick to learn and can take initiative to actively engage in the development community, sharing standard methodologies, leading initiatives, and participating in other organizational activities.Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, effectively detailing and explaining artifacts and processes to others.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with at least 4 years of relevant experience.Strong experience in Java, Selenium, and API testing.Proficiency in object-oriented principles, design patterns, data structures, and unit testing.Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools such as Atlassian Jira.Experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
