Responsibilities:Participate in all phases of product development, from product definition to final releaseCoordinate the efforts of a team of product evaluation test engineers and scientistsWork closely with global scrum teams to develop testing materials and ensure software products meet specificationsConduct testing of Enterprise software applications in Agile software development methodologyBuild and follow Test Plans and Test Cases, document issues, and perform final verification of defect resolutionsParticipate in the design, development, and implementation of new software products, as well as the maintenance and improvement of existing softwareCommunicate project status and issues to other functional teams, collaborators, and managementFacilitate the removal of roadblocks to ensure product evaluation team efficiencyRequirements:Bachelors in Science, MS in Chemistry/Bioinformatics or equivalentMinimum of 3+ years of laboratory experience using Thermo or competitor software or equivalent experience testing scientific software or experience with Liquid Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry applicationsSkills and Abilities:Hands-on experience handling LC-MS and/or GC-MSExperience in requirement analysis, test design, test execution, and defect trackingMotivated and independent work proficiencyDecision-making for quality resultsAbility to work in a teamDetailed understanding of qualitative and quantitative analytical chemistryUnderstanding and ability to apply statistical mathematicsDemonstrated experience and knowledge of software test methodologiesDemonstrated technical/scientific knowledge in Life Sciences using Mass Spectrometry or similar analytical techniquesFamiliarity with entire SDLC process, particularly in an Agile environmentDemonstrated experience in using test management toolsExperience with defect tracking systemsDemonstrate Thermo Fisher Scientific values – Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and InvolvementThermo Fisher Scientific is an equal opportunity employer and provides reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities during the job application process.
