None/Not RequiredCollins Aerospace has an exciting opportunity for Engineering Support Specialist with a passion for problem solving and delivering solutions that provide compelling gains to the consistency, efficiency and productivity of the various business processes.
This will involve working closely with Advanced Structures, Landing Systems (LS) portfolio to support all required business processes while remaining compliant with configuration management, engineering change management and global trade requirements. The goal is to ensure on-time delivery on commitments that enable Landing Gear to continue operations and fulfil commercial product program engineering requirements.
This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. Candidate must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment.
This role is categorized as hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager.
What YOU will do:
Lead and coordinate product engineering projects and strategic initiatives, driving cross-functional collaboration and ensuring alignment with technical and business objectives.Process engineering change requests in the PLM system, including analyzing product documentation, assessing interchangeability, routing for approval, and auditing.Evaluate/interpret all engineering inputs for proper classification, adherence to drafting and engineering standards, and the impact on product structure and other Collins products.Ensure compliance with applicable procedures, regulatory and customer requirements, and evaluate the interrelationship of change impacts with other product lines and business units.Coordinate and maintain documentation within the customer portal, ensuring integration with PLM and SAP systems for items such as Bills of Materials (BOM), Document Information Records (DIR), product specifications, and mechanical designs/models.Develop and maintain standard job instructions for both general as well as functionally specific business processes.Support ongoing Teamcenter migration cleanup efforts by managing daily tasks that enhance data accuracy and streamline system performance.Escalate issues, risks, and blockers efficiently.Keep management informed of progress to ensure alignment.Support the team with any ad-hoc data-related tasks.What YOU will learn:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years prior relevant experienceDemonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contractQualifications We Prefer
