**Job Title:** Field Service Engineer
**Location:** Busan and Gyeongsang area
**Division:** Materials and Structural Analysis Division (MSD)
**Portfolio Coverage:** SEM-SDB (EM)
**How You’ll Make an Impact**
The Materials & Structural Analysis Division (MSD) at Thermo Fisher Scientific is responsible for selling and servicing Thermo Fisher products globally. As a key representative, you will support both potential and current customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering valuable products and services.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Perform on-site installation, servicing, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
+ Investigate and validate operational quality of system equipment.
+ Provide training to customers on system operation and maintenance.
+ Serve as the primary company liaison for administrative and technical matters related to assigned projects.
+ Conduct scheduled maintenance visits and provide solving and repair support.
+ Build strong working relationships with customers, system users, and company personnel.
+ Travel, often on short notice, to customer sites to resolve issues or support other field service personnel.
+ Complete and submit detailed field service reports.
+ Provide feedback to product quality teams and supply to improving system documentation.
+ Act as an authority and resource for training.
**Qualifications & Experience**
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience in electronic system solving.
+ Experience in solving and repairing ultra-high vacuum and high-voltage systems is highly preferred.
+ Strong customer service and relationship leadership skills.
+ Fluent in both Korean and English.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Proven ability to diagnose and solving complex systems down to the component level.
+ Proficiency in MS-DOS and Windows environments.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics.
