Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented and innovative Electromechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing electromechanical systems and products that integrate both electrical and mechanical components.
Design and develop cutting-edge electromechanical systems and products using CAD software and engineering principlesAnalyze and optimize existing electromechanical systems to improve performance and efficiencyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical and mechanical components in product designsConduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for new projects and product improvementsDevelop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications and test proceduresTroubleshoot and resolve complex electromechanical issues in existing productsStay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure compliance and drive innovationParticipate in product testing and quality assurance processesProvide technical support to manufacturing and field service teamsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering departmentIntegrate automation, control systems, and IoT technologies into electromechanical designsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field3-5 years of experience in electromechanical engineering or product designProficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorksStrong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including industrial control systemsExcellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detailProven experience in product design and developmentFamiliarity with industry standards and regulations relevant to electromechanical systemsUnderstanding of manufacturing processes and their impact on product designStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentKnowledge of automation and control systemsFamiliarity with IoT technologies and their integration in electromechanical systemsProfessional Engineer (PE) certification preferredWillingness to travel occasionally for project-related purposesAdditional InformationAbout AECOM
