**About the Team**
ZF Foxconn Chassis Modules is a 50-50 joint venture between ZF Friedrichshafen AG and Foxconn (Hon Hai Technology Group) to use core competencies from existing business areas to jointly develop new services for automotive markets. The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer works integrally with maintenance technicians, maintenance technician team leader, engineers and other plant personnel in the analysis of process problems and troubleshooting equipment problems to ensure proper process operation.
**What you can look forward to as Advanced Manufacturing Engineer:**
+ Make changes to enhance the machine functionality of the equipment, continuously improve/upgrade equipment using six sigma/lean principles, and troubleshoot and solve errors/problems on production equipment.
+ Ensure the work environment, equipment and processes are in safe condition and meet or exceed OSHA requirements.
+ Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
+ Determines product specifications for the purchase of equipment, materials or parts, according to specifications and quality standards.
+ Contact potential suppliers for production equipment and supports the final technical choice.
+ Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
+ Leads projects for existing production and new programs using APQP and Lean principles to meet timing and budget as well as performance.
+ Compliance with all Internal and External Production Quality Management Systems and Group Directives.

**Your Profile as the Advanced Manufacturing Engineer:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
+ 4 - 8+ years of experience and leading technical projects.
+ Proficient computer skills with Microsoft and CAD software.
+ Capable of making sound decisions in a timely manner.
+ Excellent communications capabilities with both verbal and written means.
+ Good time management and prioritizing skills
+ A working knowledge of statistical methods and SPC charts.
+ Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
