Support engineering and project management activities by reviewing technical data packages, managing change processes, and ensuring precision manufacturing standards are met.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing with precision processes and tight tolerances
Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and creating engineering and production drawings
Strong knowledge of GD&T fundamentals (ASTM Y14.5-2009)
Experience with change management, BOM reviews, and CAD data packages
Working knowledge of CAD software such as PTC Creo (preferred)
Ability to perform precision measurement of machined components
Capability in algebra, geometry, and trigonometry for engineering computations
Preferred Skills
Background with actuated systems, gears, and drive mechanisms (non-automotive)
Experience in firearms or weapons systems (machine gun programs a strong plus)
Knowledge of cutting tools, CNC, and conventional machining practices
Ability to identify cost-reduction opportunities in design and manufacturing approaches
Familiarity with customer-facing engineering support and presentations
Responsibilities
Serve as engineering interface for customer technical data packages (TDPs)
Collaborate with internal teams to review CAD models, drawings, and designs
Conduct design and data package reviews to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness
Support project management by aligning engineering deliverables with program milestones
Assist in setting and validating tolerances, specifications, and manufacturing features
Provide technical feedback to improve mechanisms, actuated systems, and component designs
Participate in quality reviews and inspections of machined components
Contribute to change management processes, BOM oversight, and engineering documentation
Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
