What's in it for you:

Join Trane Technologies’ global engineering team and contribute to the development of next-generation, industry-leading commercial HVAC equipment and controllers. In this role, you will work with global cross-functional teams to develop and integrate energy-efficient and reliable control software solutions that help minimize operating costs while reducing environmental impact. This position focuses on HVAC equipment controller software development, including functional module design, implementation, testing, maintenance, enhancement of existing products, and resolution of field issues. You will gain valuable international collaboration experience and strong opportunities for technical growth.

What you will do:

Review and discuss functional specifications with the global development teamDesign, implement, and test software to meet functional requirementsPrepare software development and design documentationMaintain and upgrade existing software, and analyze and resolve field issuesCommunicate control functions, software design, and development status with global teamsParticipate in the development and integration of HVAC equipment controller softwareTake ownership of the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of specific functional modules

What you will bring:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related fieldProficiency in C or C++ programmingGood English reading, writing, and verbal communication skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environmentSelf-motivated with a strong willingness to learnPassion for and interest in new technologies and software development
