Job Description

As an Engineer, Remote Support you will provide technical support by chat to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging systems. You will report design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering. You could also be involved in customer installation and training.

You will report to the Team Leader and will be located in Katowice.

Your Responsibilities:Live chat technical support in troubleshooting and solving issues related to Rockwell Automation - Allen Bradley ® software and hardware (PLC, SCADA, HMI, Drives, Motion, Industrial Networks & Components and FT Hub cutting edge cloud products)Simulation and analysis of clients' issues using available resourcesResearch, verification, and resolution of reported issuesDocument technical solutions and best practicesWork together with other technical teams and customer serviceContinuous improvement in products and technologies required to provide high level support for customersWillingness to work on a mixed shift mode (3 shifts Mon-Fri)

The Essentials - You Will Have:Degree in Automation Engineering/Electrical/related field and/or prior experience in similar positionVery good command of English (spoken and written)Computer literacy

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:A demonstrated independent interest in technologyEagerness to develop in Automation Engineering and to learn new technologiesInterest in troubleshooting, testing, and improving company's products and servicesProblem resolution focusSkills in using a VM environment for testing purposes1+ years of experience in customer service
