Engineer, Lab Operations - level 3 - 2nd shift
**Description:** You will be the Engineer, Lab Operations Sr for the F\-16 Test Lab team\. **What You Will Be Doing:** Responsible for providing operational technical support for LM Aero Fort Worth Simulation and System Labs \(SSL\) Organization's F\-16 test lab systems\. This individual will support the day\-to\-day operations, maintenance, configuration management and support of system test/simulation host computers, projection and display systems, cockpit hardware, electronic interfaces, and mechanical assemblies\. This position will focus on the support and maintenance activities within the IFG \(F\-16\) Integration Labs\. Typical tasks would include system integration/checkout/test; modifications; troubleshooting; visual display systems color tuning and alignment; network connectivity support; system/facility security duties; and manage, participate in, or run tests\. Individual will work with other engineers, customers, and vendors as a team to efficiently support system integration, scheduled events, maintain equipment, support configuration management, and comply with applicable security policies and procedures\. May also be required to coordinate the resolution of facilities maintenance and lab scheduling issues\. This position is for 2nd shift support Monday – Thursday\. \* 2nd shift is typically 1:30 PM to midnight\. This position also requires that this individual be able to walk up and down stairs and ladders and be able to lift/carry lab equipment/assets of up to 50 lbs\. **This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth\.** **You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information\.** **This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a security clearance\.** **Basic Qualifications:** • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline OR 10\+ years of relevant experience • Experience in operating and maintaining electronic equipment\. • Experienced with configuration control, inventory, and/or working in a lab setting\. **Desired Skills:** • Direct experience supporting or knowledge of development laboratories and real\-time simulation environments is highly desired\. • Experience with aircraft hardware, electronic interfaces, projection/display systems, audio systems, and/or mechanical assemblies\. • Experience in a HQSim/VSIF or similar lab environment\. • Experienced in troubleshooting and operating Avionics equipment\. **Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\. **Clearance Level:** Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years **Other Important Information You Should Know** **Expression of Interest:** By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match\.
