**Aero technician** **Job Description** Join our team as an Inspector where you will play a crucial role in inspecting components from aero derivative gas turbine engines and their modules to support the repair and overhaul processes. Our work environment prioritizes health and safety, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with a trained team to meet and exceed customer expectations. **Responsibilities** + Perform visual and instrument inspection of disassembled gas turbine components and provide a disposition for the repair and overhaul process. + Assess the state of components using established guides and instructions. + Verify assembly instructions for components requiring rework. + Conduct borescope inspection and measurement of engines and assemblies. + Carry out minor rework operations. + Perform final inspection of components at parts receiving. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in mechanical assembly and plan reading. + Experience in inspection of parts. + Knowledge of engine fabrication and fitting. + Familiarity with gas turbines. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + College diploma in aeronautics. + Certificate of study in aeronautics recognized by the Ministry of Education. + Diploma of professional studies in aerospace. + Relevant aeronautical training and experience acquired in the Canadian Armed Forces. **Why Work Here?** We are more than just an energy technology company. Day shifts run from 5:30 AM or 6:30 AM to 1:30 PM or 2:30 PM, and evening shifts run from 1:30 PM or 2:30 PM to 9:30 PM or 10:30 PM.
