Description

Engine Development is calibration development, mechanical experiments, fabrication and manual test points to run getting the engine to 60% calibrated and then send it to Engine Validation to test and ultimate take it to a failure state.

Mechanical swapping of engine components working hand in hand with engineers to test different combinations of engine for optimum performanceWill work in laboratory setting using AVL/PUMA and emissions equipmentWill work on engine tuning and calibration using software such as HP Tuners or standalone systemsWill run and operate manual testing on a dynoWill work with a Test Engineer to manipulate fuel tables, air-intake, spark and exhaust to find optimum performance on test enginesWill do work at the component level including components like oil pumps, head or cam changes, fuel injectors, spark plugs - almost anything.Assembly/Modification and/or Fabrication to existing Engines to prep for testingFabricate components on engine and test stand/dynos for testingInstrumentations between the engine and they dynoTIG Weld parts and components

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
