Honeywell Thermal Solutions is seeking a skilled and customer-focused **Application Engineer** to support technical sales and solution development in the **Industrial Combustion Market** . This role bridges the gap between engineering and sales, providing expert guidance on combustion systems, product selection, and application design to meet customer needs. **Key Responsibilities** + Promotes the sale of Combustion Solutions and Products by providing technical support, development of quotations and projects to end users, OEMs and channel partners + Provide technical support to Account Managers and customers during pre-sales and post-sales phases. + Analyze customer requirements and propose tailored combustion solutions using Honeywell products (Maxon, Eclipse, Hauck, Kromschröder). + Prepare system designs, equipment specifications, and application documentation. + Product selection, sizing, and configuration for burners, valves, controls, and safety systems. + Conduct site visits, audits, and technical presentations to customers and partners. + Works with field sales to grow our services and after market by assisting in the project management. + Develops training programs for all Combustion solutions and products to customers and channel partners + Offers technical and troubleshooting assistance + Collaborate with R&D, product management, and service teams to ensure solution feasibility and compliance. + Project Management for Combustion System and Services Orders. + Support for purchasing department, follow-up of fabrication, collaborated with suppliers and clients to meet or exceed design, quality, timeline and budget expectations. Mediation between suppliers, customers and other stakeholders + Develop Data-Sheets, Calculation Memorial, P&D, Schedules and other documents applicable + Stay current on industry standards, combustion technologies, and market trends. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering. + Minimum of 3 years of experience in application engineering, specifically in the Industrial Combustion market, thermal processing, or related engineering fields. + Strong understanding of combustion principles, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and control systems. + Familiarity with industrial applications such as furnaces, kilns, ovens, dryers boilers, and oxidizers. + Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer interaction skills. + Experience in project management and resource allocation + Ability to travel 10% to 15% is required coordinating and giving product and application training seminars. **Preferred Skills** + Experience with Honeywell Thermal Solutions products and systems. + Knowledge of ABNT NBR 12.313, NFPA, EN, and other combustion safety standards. + Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design tools. + Multilingual capabilities (English required; Spanish a plus).
