The Developer Marketing, Technology and Education (MET) team in the Amazon Devices organization is looking for a marketing manager to help drive awareness and adoption of our products and services among developers through building deep connections with our developer community. Our developers create engaging experiences for customers on Amazon Fire TV and Fire tablets, Amazon Appstore for Android, and Alexa enabled voice skills. Our mission is to ensure we are providing engaging and user-friendly content to our developers while driving increased adoption.
As the Engagement Marketing Manager, you will own strategic engagement initiatives, including the social channels, marketing planning to support event sponsorships, webinars, podcasts, and other marketing channels. You will be the bridge between Amazon Devices, our developers, and the broader build community, creating opportunities for meaningful connection, developer advocacy, and engagement to gather insights to help champion better products for our end customers.
As the ideal candidate, you have a strong passion for building, managing and nurturing the developer community in partnership with the Evangelism and product teams. Experience ramping up on various digital marketing platform technologies is strongly preferred. You love creating process, have a flair for content creation, and prioritize quality. Success for this role will require strong program management, high attention to detail, and being results-oriented and developer-centric in your approach.
This role will work closely with cross-functional teams such as your fellow marketing managers, Evangelism, MarTech, Engineering, and Product Marketing, to develop and execute digital campaigns that align with the program goals and objectives. Additionally, as a key engagement channel, you will lead, optimize, and scale compelling social media content across channels maximum visibility and engagement. Leveraging your deep understanding of platform-specific best practices, storytelling techniques, and rapidly evolving content trends, you lead producing visuals, videos, and narratives across LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube. You will manage the entire content lifecycle, from ideation and production workflows to scheduling, publishing, and performance analysis, ensuring that every piece aligns with overarching objectives and successfully resonates with target audiences.

Key job responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end execution, management, and monitoring of social media channels
* Develop and implement platform-specific strategies, guiding the creation of impactful and engaging content designed to drive engagement and performance metrics
* Partner with internal teams to implement engaging content and create reporting to measure developer engagement and proposals for improving the developer experience
* Plan, develop and roll out digital campaigns with use of multiple-channels including but not limited to paid media, email, website, social channels
* Utilize performance insights to inform data-driven decisions, shaping editorial calendars, identifying emerging content formats, and creating a clear strategic roadmap that aligns social media efforts with broader business objectives
* Tracks social and community engagement trends and layers into overall strategy
