**Your role and responsibilities**
As an Engagement Lead, you will operate at the intersection of delivery, product strategy and management, and client success. You will lead multidisciplinary teams that include strategists, designers, technologists, and data scientists to deliver transformative outcomes for clients. You will be accountable for the success of client engagements - from inception and vision through to implementation and measurable business impact.
You will bring a strong commercial mindset, deep understanding of human-centered design and AI-enabled transformation, and the ability to advise senior client stakeholders on how to reimagine their businesses for the future.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
Engagement Leadership & Client Success :
* Serve as the senior point of contact for strategic client relationships, accountable for the overall success and satisfaction of engagements across an account.
* Shape and articulate engagement vision, outcomes, and value propositions aligned with client business objectives.
* Manage executive stakeholder relationships, ensuring trust, alignment, and measurable impact.
* Identify growth opportunities within accounts and contribute to business development activities, including proposal development and thought leadership.
* Demonstrate the brand experience of working with IBM for clients, teammates and ecosystem partners.
Delivery Leadership :
* Oversee the delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary programmes that combine business strategy, design, and technology accountable for positive NPS and base account growth.
* Lead engagement planning, governance, financial management, and risk mitigation to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
* Mentor and guide Project Managers, Product Owners, Experience Consultants and AI Engineers to maintain delivery excellence and adherence to best practices.
* Drive continuous improvement across engagements through retrospectives, capability building, and the use of AI-enabled delivery methods.
* Highly skilled in agile program management and proficient in the use of tooling such as Jira to align teams through complex delivery cycles.
Product and Service Strategy :
* Partner with clients to define product and service visions rooted in customer and employee needs.
* Oversee the design and development of new products, services, and intelligent workflows — from MVP to scale.
* Ensure alignment between product roadmaps, operating models, and business goals.
* Champion the adoption of AI and automation to enhance product and service performance.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Proven experience leading large-scale transformation or product delivery programmes in consulting or enterprise environments.
* Experience in managing a pipeline of $5M+ USD in signings and a balanced scorecard.
* Demonstrated success in managing senior client relationships and delivering measurable business outcomes.
* Strong background in business strategy, product management, or experience design, ideally with exposure to AI and data-driven transformation.
* Excellent commercial acumen with experience in engagement profitability, forecasting, and portfolio management.
* Adept at leading cross-functional teams and influencing at executive level.
* Deep curiosity about emerging technologies, especially AI, and their impact on organisations and society.
* 8+ years of relevant professional experience, including leadership roles in consulting, digital transformation, or product innovation.
