Eng II, Software

The Eng II, Software position will be part of the SW development team that develops software solutions to challenging problems associated with the design and development of monitoring products within the fluid management space.

The successful candidate will process solid “hands-on” technical abilities, excellent teamwork capabilities in a multi-disciplinary/ embedded device, multi culture international team, as well as personal reward of product development in the medical device space.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

A good technical understanding of the principles and procedures of software engineering (e.g., SDLC, Agile).

Participate in Patient Monitoring embedded software development activities.

Responsible for analyzing and understanding the requirements.

Identifies key module/product level technical risks and assists project manager in developing mitigation and recovery plan

Design and Develop core platform features or modules with high quality & aligned with product requirements.

Responsible for activities like unit & integration tests, organizing the peer reviews, provide workload estimation within the area of ownership, SW documentation. 

Provides input to the test strategies at a product level

Contributes to proof of concepts/feasibility studies, development & testing.

Participates in analysis of reported field issues related to the product

Is passionate about software quality and be prepared to advocate on behalf of good processes and best practices.

Work as a collaborative team member with global teams

Qualifications:

Degree in Bachelor of Engineering/ Computer Science.4+ years in product development in SW with exposure to Technically Leading scrum teams.Strong Hands-on knowledge on Qt/QML and C++ on embedded systems, Linux OS (Operating System), MVVM design Pattern.Good understanding of stacks, memory management, heaps, multithreading, memory profiling tools.Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile SW (Software) development methodologies.Knowledge of design patterns.Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative multinational environment.Outstanding communication skills.Experience in Healthcare domain is a plus

Background and/or Experience:

Bachelors / Masters .in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering or related field.
