Your role at Baxter:

As Engineer I, Project you I’ll provide a wide range of engineering works to fully support the activities related to process or product, introduction and validation of medical devices manufactured in Haina facility.

What you’ll be doing:

Perform and assists in the implementation and development of process or product designs, changes, materials selection and manufacturing techniques.Perform validations using local or external engineering resources.Participate in the development of new processes or products from concept / design stages through introduction into manufacturing.Use project management principles and fundamentals to all product and processes changes.Work with product development process requirements to fully develop products for International markets.Implement in validations (FOC / COB) using Local engineering resources with coordination with the different departments (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, etc).Coordinate and perform local and divisional engineering project activities under supervision.Perform standard cost revision, quotation process, as required and process improvement projects under supervision.Support launch of new products.Implement value improvement projects by analyzing specific processes and supporting the Haina plant VIP program.Perform statistical and analytical analysis on process or product related conditions.Use Six-sigma engineering tools.Conduct process or product transfer activities from divisional or international facilities to the Haina manufacturing areas. 

What you’ll bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.Fully computer knowledge (MS package, MS Project)2 years of experience in related field.Problem SolvingOrderly, dynamic and responsible.Project ManagementBilingual (Spanish and English).
