Job Description
As an Energy Technician, you will play a vital role in conducting detailed audits and assessments for customers. You will identify potential conservation measures, evaluate savings potential, and recommend energy-efficient technologies. Additionally, you will educate customers on energy efficiency measures and perform diagnostic testing and installations.
ResponsibilitiesConduct detailed audits and assessments for customers as determined by program contract.Identify potential conservation measures and recommend energy-efficient technologies.Provide educational sessions and recommendations on energy efficiency measures.Perform diagnostic testing and install program measures.Manage supplied inventory materials and company-issued equipment.Treat customer property respectfully, ensuring spaces are left in the same or better condition.Communicate customer service issues to the immediate supervisor in real-time.Conduct work in compliance with OSHA and company safety procedures.Essential SkillsMechanical aptitudeCustomer service skillsEnergy efficiency knowledge1+ year experience in a service technician roleStrong understanding of mechanical and electrical applicationsValid driver's licenseAdditional Skills & QualificationsReliable transportationAttendance is importantField service experienceWork Environment
This position involves traveling to different project sites throughout the state of Connecticut. You will work with a lead at every site and occasionally visit the office for team meetings. The role offers opportunities for growth within the organization and potential to move into leadership roles. Additionally, there is compensation for mileage, adding significant value to your earnings.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
