***Energy Technician – Interviews Happening This Week*** Location: Statewide, Connecticut Duration: 6 months contract to hire Salary: $18 to 20 an hour About the Role We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Energy Technician to join our field service team supporting one of Connecticut’s largest energy efficiency programs. This is a fantastic opportunity to break into the energy industry, gain hands-on experience, and grow within a mission-driven organization. Key Responsibilities + Conduct detailed energy audits and assessments at customer sites. + Identify and recommend energy conservation measures and technologies. + Educate customers on energy efficiency practices and program benefits. + Perform diagnostic testing and install energy-saving measures. + Maintain and manage inventory of materials and company-issued equipment. + Ensure customer property is respected and left in excellent condition. + Communicate service issues promptly to supervisors. + Adhere to OSHA and company safety protocols at all times. Must-Have Skills & Qualifications + 1+ year of experience in a service technician or similar field role. + Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. + Excellent customer service and communication skills. + Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. + Ability to travel to various project sites across Connecticut. + Dependable attendance and punctuality. + Experience in electrical systems or field service work. + Familiarity with energy efficiency technologies and practices.
