Junior Accounts Payable Officer – Utilities
Location: Parramatta, NSW | Australian Citizens Only
Please note: This role requires Australian Citizenship due to mandatory security clearance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with utilities reporting, including late fees, GAP reporting, and pending landlord processing
Resolve accounts payable exceptions related to utilities
Support reconciliations for utilities and council accounts
Manage and respond to accounts payable queries efficiently
Liaise with internal stakeholders to support timely issue resolution
Help identify process improvement opportunities within AP and utilities workflows
About You
This is a junior-level role, ideal for someone looking to grow and develop within finance:
Previous experience in Accounts Payable (essential)
Exposure to utilities processing (desirable but not required)
Experience with JDE or similar ERP systems (preferred)
Strong Excel skills and ability to work with reports
High attention to detail and a methodical approach
Clear and confident communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines
Comfortable working with systems and data to resolve issues
