Endpoint Security Administrator
**Job Description** BAE Systems is seeking an experienced full-time on-site Endpoint Security System Administrator at Washington Navy Yard to support our work as a prime contractor on a high-profile U.S. Navy weapon system. Candidate should be a highly skilled Endpoint Security System Administrator with expertise in Trellix. This position is responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and maintenance of endpoint security solutions. You will play a vital part in the Navy's cyber defense strategy by ensuring the security and integrity of thousands of endpoints, from servers to workstations, in a high-stakes environment. This position requires a proactive and meticulous approach to threat mitigation, policy enforcement, and system hardening in accordance withDepartment of War (DoW)and Navy directives. As an on-site System Administrator, you will: + Architect, install, configure, and manage the Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) platform. + Deploy, manage, and tune the full range of Trellix endpoint security modules, including Endpoint Security (ENS), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Policy Auditor, and Application and Change Control. + Respond to incidents, perform threat analysis, and work with security teams to implement corrective measures. + Monitor the environment for security alerts and potential threats using the HBSS/ESS suite. + Provide regular reports and briefings to stakeholders on the security posture, compliance status, and vulnerability management efforts. + Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, policies, schedules, and compliance metrics. **and the U.S. Navy s Strategic Systems Programs (SSP)** Our organization has supported the U.S. Navy s Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) continually since the program s inception in the 1950s. SSP developed the first sea-based, underwater-launched Strategic Weapon System (SWS), a defense system that is truly critical to our national security. For more than six decades, SSP has maintained and upgraded this weapon system, and we have been there every step of the way. The sea-based SWS is the ultimate stealthy weapon system and is the first leg of the U.S. nuclear triad. With over 70% of our nation s nuclear arsenal its importance to maintaining world peace cannot be overstated. The development of Columbia, the most advanced nuclear-powered, nuclear-armed submarine ever designed, as well the next D5LE2 weapon system is under way and will begin to be rolled out over the next decade. The Navy projects this system to be operational through 2084, meaning the program will have a total life span of more than 120 years. We develop, engineer, manufacture, and support products and systems to protect national security and keep people safe. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Full-time on-site at Washington Navy Yard + Experience administering and deploying various Trellix products such as ENS, DLP, and Policy Auditor. + A strong understanding of network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP). + Deep understanding of DISA STIGs, the Risk Management Framework (RMF), and NIST standards. + Capable of working within a team, good planning, time management, and organization skills. + Ten years work experience of which five years work experience is specific to System Administration + An ACTIVE DoW Top Secret security clearance + A DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III certification + Or, have a SECNAV 5239 qualifying degree AND obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification within 6 months of start date + Ability to obtain and maintain Common Access Card (CAC), badge access to the customer s facility, and a SSP network account in good standing **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related degree **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
