The Role
Job Role:
Device Management Services (Platform Management) - BigFix Administrator. Providing on-going support of installed application systems including resolution of application systems incidents, root cause analysis of problems, impact analysis and planning of proposed system upgrades and patches in BigFix Infra. Execution of change control procedures to ensure all enhancements, upgrades and patches are thoroughly tested and planned before implementation in the production environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Candidate must have at least 3-4 yrs. experience in the following BigFix Modules i.e HCL BigFix LifeCycle, Security and Compliance, Patch Management & Inventory (SUA) Roles / Responsibilities.
2. Hands on experience on BigFix administration, OS/Security patching, Fixlet/baseline/Task execution, installation and configuration of agents/relays. 3. Develop custom Fixlet/analysis/baseline as per requirement.
4. Detail understanding of Bigfix/TEM relevance language.
5. Should have experience in upgrading BigFix infra.
6. Should have experience working with Web Reports/ SCA/ SUA Reports.
7. Good verbal & written communication skills, customer Interfacing experience & excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
8. Certification in HCL BigFix will be of added advantage.
9. Must have good experience in Scripting Languages using PowerShell, Visual Basic, DOS commands (Batch File) etc.
10.Experienced in mapping policy, standards, procedures and process guideline documents to deployed and new systems
11.Experienced in identifying gaps and risks on systems and making recommendation on remediating solutions
12. Experienced in software configuration management and documentation
13. Experienced in systems analysis and problem solving
14. Experienced in project analysis, planning, monitoring, and reporting.
Skill:
1. Technical Knowledge Must have In-depth skillsets in BigFix Infrastructure Components – Main Server, Relays, FillDB, BFGather, Administration Tool, Console, SCM and Web Report.
2. Working experience with different Data base servers is much required
3. Exposure to network administration, Windows administration, Active directory management, IIS, SQL Server database and other applications, batch scripts is preferred.
4. 5-6 Years of experience in BigFix Administration using both Lifecycle and Security Compliance Management modules.
5. Strong knowledge in design, implementation, troubleshooting of BigFix Server, Relays and Clients.
6. Have performed BigFix upgrade and Client migration from planning through implementation.
Who You Are
Education/Experience Bachelor's degree with following:
1. Minimum 5 years of experience working in an Information Technology role.
2. Minimum 3-4 years of experience working with large, complex networks and systems.
