Job Description & Summary

We are looking for an experienced Endpoint Engineer with expertise in application packaging, scripting, and device management to support and enhance our enterprise digital workplace.

This role will focus on building and automating deployment workflows using application packaging and automation scripting tools like Apptimized and PSADT, while managing applications across platforms using solutions such as Microsoft Intune and Workspace ONE.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for automation, cross-platform compatibility, and delivering a seamless end-user experience, with additional exposure to infrastructure and security concepts considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities: 

Package and customize enterprise applications using industry-standard tools such as Apptimized or equivalent. 

Develop and automate deployment logic using tools such as PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT), ensuring consistent installation, configuration, and rollback processes. 

Create reusable and standardized deployment scripts to wrap applications and integrate with endpoint management platforms like Microsoft Intune or Workspace ONE. 

Collaborate on testing and validation of packaged apps, leveraging testing environments when available. 

Ensure compatibility across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms where applicable. 

Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of endpoint-related application and deployment issues. 

Collaborate with IT security and compliance teams to align endpoint configurations with enterprise standards. 

Maintain detailed documentation of packaging standards, deployment processes, and version control. 

Work cross-functionally with infrastructure and service desk teams to ensure smooth delivery of application and endpoint services. 
 

Required Skills and Experience: 

3–5 years of experience in endpoint engineering, device management, or desktop support in enterprise environments. 

Experienced with application packaging using industry-standard tools (e.g., Apptimized, or equivalent). 

Proficiency in scripting for automation (e.g., PowerShell) to manage deployment and configuration tasks. 

Hands-on experience with device management platforms (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Workspace ONE, or similar). 

Experience deploying and troubleshooting applications in Windows desktop environments and MACOS, iOS, Android.  

Knowledge of MDM/MAM policies, silent installations, and enterprise deployment standards. 

Strong documentation skills and the ability to write clear, repeatable deployment procedures. 
 

Nice to Have: 

Familiarity with Windows Server or Linux administration concepts (e.g., patching, health checks, firmware updates). 

Exposure to vulnerability and compliance management using tools like Microsoft Defender, Tenable, or Qualys. 

Awareness of enterprise backup/restore workflows and endpoint agent deployments (e.g., Commvault, Veeam). 

Understanding of enrollment technologies like Windows Autopilot or macOS DEP. 

General knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and security configurations relevant to endpoints. 

Experience working in environments with compliance or regulatory standards. 
 

Preferred Certifications: 

Certifications in PowerShell or scripting automation  

Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate 

VMware or equivalent endpoint management certification 

ITIL Foundation or equivalent
