An Insight Global customer is looking to hire an End User Site Technician for a customer site in Port Deposit, MD. This person will be the onsite POC for the clients automated customer warehouse facility setting up and troubleshooting printers, laptops, thin clients, and RF Scanners. This role is essential in the success of day-to-day operations in the facility. This person will work 100% onsite and be the onsite tier 1 support for anything hardware related. This is a first shift role, typically 40-50 hours a week, M-F, with some OT and weekends as needed. There is a chance this role could get extended into other facilities outside of Maryland and would require travel if so.
Compensation Range: $25/hr to $30/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements
- 2+ years of hands on IT hardware experience
- Experience working in an automated warehouse or distribution center setting
- Experience using, setting up, and troubleshooting RF Scanners
- Experience troubleshooting printers and laptops
- Experience installing commercial printers or Xerox, Zebra, Honeywell, etc.
- Experience working with a ticketing system
- Strong communication skills, outgoing, a people person personality
- Associates level or higher degree in a technical field related to this role - Experience using ServiceNow ticketing system
- WMS Experience
