Here is some of what you can expect from being an EMT with us: + You will provide professional patient care through supervised assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. + You will maintain supplies in the patient rooms and the department. + You will act as a patient transporter for appropriate patients. + You will perform unit secretary duties when necessary. + You will help maintain patient flow in collaboration with the charge nurse. + You will perform Lab testing as assigned based on protocol of each test, documenting results and communicating critical as defined. + You will meet the needs of the patient, family, and multidisciplinary team through communication, coordination, and evaluation. + You will provide patient care patient populations + You will perform clerical and receptionist duties + You will perform duties delegated by the RN **Qualifications you will need for this role:** + Current Colorado EMT-B (basic) + Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross. + Current IV certification. + High school diploma/GED required + BLS Certification + ACLS Certification + One to two years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred HCA HealthONE, one of the largest and most comprehensive healthcare systems in the Rocky Mountain region, offers more than 170 care sites in the Denver metro area.
