As a Part Time EMT, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Georgetown, KY. The scheduled hours are Saturday & Sunday, 6AM - 6PM. 

Work the weekend, own the week!

What You’ll Do

Assesses nature and extent of illness or injury, establishes priorities, and administers initial treatment at the scene to stabilize patient until higher level of health care is providedObserves, records, and reports patient condition and treatments to providerAssists in extricating trapped victims: transports sick and injured persons to treatment centersCommunicates with medical personnel and stays updated on treatment techniques and protocolsConducts safety inspections, prepares reports, and maintains recordsCleans emergency vehicle, requisitions supplies, and restocks materials and equipmentMaintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control proceduresMaintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date recordsPerforms other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

Current, unencumbered EMT Certification as defined within the state in which work will be performedCurrent certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required At least three years of experience as an EMT with an ambulance/EMS service
