Position Summary: The primary responsibilities of the EMS Supervisor is the management and oversight of the ALS staff and QA/QC of medical documentation for the patrol. Additional responsibilities may include oversight of medical operations, inventory of supplies, training and administrative functions. This position is part of the patrol management team and is expected to exercise independent judgment in scheduling and evaluating assigned staff. They also make recommendations for hiring and disciplinary decisions for ALS staff. This position works up to 20 hours week and has discretion to independently manage their work schedule within parameters designated by their manager.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
Management and Oversight of ALS staff, including independently conducting or making effective recommendations regarding hiring, scheduling, evaluations, and disciplinary decisions for assigned staff.
Act as the Infectious Disease Control Officer.
Facilitate communication between Eldora, transport agencies, and receiving facilities.
Manage medical supply inventory and ordering.
Manage medication inventory and narcotics tracking, including end-of-season reconciliation and coordination of unused/expiring medication returns.
Incorporate ongoing medical training into daily operations and oversee medical skills amongst the patrol.
Perform QA/QI for documentation completed by ALS providers, provide oversight and guidance for review of documentation by BLS providers.
Act as liaison for the Medical Director.
Leads by example for all company safety policies and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment for self, coworkers, and guests.

Specific Job Skills:
High school degree or equivalent.
Must be at least 21 years old to make alcoholic beverages for guests.
Preferred Skills:
Required: Current State of Colorado EMT-P
4 seasons of patrol experience working at least 200 hours per season
Experience working in EMS education and training preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Non-Peak Days (M-F): 7am-5pm
Peak Days (Sa/Sun/Holidays): 7am-5pm
This schedule represents an average work week and is subject to change based on guest volume, operational needs, and weather conditions.
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $32+ depending on experience.
Benefits: This is a seasonal position eligible for season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available. Additionally, this position accumulates sick time.
