\n\t\t\t\t\tThe EMR Specialist is responsible for supporting the training, implementation, and ongoing optimization of an electronic health record (EHR) system for clinical and non‑clinical users. This role partners cross‑functionally with technical and operational teams to ensure effective system adoption, workflow alignment, and end‑user support. The position provides comprehensive assistance across all phases of the EHR lifecycle, including implementation, maintenance, upgrades, and on‑site support as needed.\n\nEssential Functions\nDeliver effective classroom and hands‑on training for clinical, administrative, and billing staff\nProvide on‑site and at‑the‑elbow support to facilitate smooth transitions from training to live system use\nTroubleshoot system issues in accordance with established support protocols\nMaintain a strong working knowledge of all EHR applications and functionality\nPerform system maintenance, testing, reporting, and documentation of configuration changes and outcomes\nInvestigate and resolve end‑user support requests and help desk tickets\nSupport the rollout of new system modules, enhancements, and updates\nTest new builds and features during implementation and ongoing maintenance cycles\nCollaborate with stakeholders to evaluate and improve workflows, system integration, and operational efficiency\nAssist with workflow redesign and process improvement initiatives\nEnsure data integrity and compliance with established IT policies and procedures\nPerform additional duties as assigned

\n\t\t\t\t\tSkills and Qualifications\nStrong technical aptitude and computer skills\nExperience working with EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)\nExcellent communication and presentation skills, particularly in training environments\nHighly detail‑oriented with strong organizational and follow‑through skills\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment\nClinical background (e.g., Medical Assistant or Nurse) strongly preferred\n\nEducation and Experience\nMinimum of 3–5 years of experience working with an Epic EHR system\nPrior experience in a healthcare or medical office setting required\nEpic certification preferred

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
