The Opportunity:

This role will be based in San Francisco and will adhere to a hybrid work schedule.

The Employee Relations team acts as a bridge between employees and Sephora with the intent to support the overall employee experience. Through functioning as a neutral resource, the ER team serves to drive consistency and fairness, assess workplace culture, ensure compliance with company policies, investigate employee concerns and provide consultative support on escalated employee issues. The ER team also supports all employees with mediation, dispute resolution, and recommends strategies to consistently improve upon the employee experience at Sephora.

Job Summary:

Reporting into Sr. Director, Employee Relations, the ER Partner, Asset Protection is responsible for conducting investigations, handling workplace disputes, and providing subject matter expertise for employee concerns supporting the Asset Protection group. Additionally, the ER Partner, Asset Protection will stay current on employment laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of investigations and processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

Time Spent

Conduct confidential investigations related to workplace complaints, policy violations, and recommend appropriate actions.

Serve as primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution. Make recommendations and provide guidance with respect to these employment matters.

Analyze data and collaborate with key partners to identify solutions for recurring themes or issues.

Provide guidance and training to managers/employees on policy compliance

Support internal projects/initiatives as needed.

The annual base salary range for this position is $132,005.00 - $147,535.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.  Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.  Sephora offers a generous benefits package to full-time employees, which includes comprehensive health, dental and vision plans; a superior 401(k) plan, various paid time off programs; employee discount/perks; life insurance; disability insurance; flexible spending accounts; and an employee referral bonus program.
