Employee Relations Manager I

As an Employee Relations Manager at Spectrum, you will investigate sensitive cases, offer expert guidance and help build policies that protect both our people and our business. How You’ll Make an Impact   

Lead independent investigations into employee concerns for both exempt and non-exempt employees, ensuring thorough documentation and timely resolutionRecommend solutions for employee issues that align with Spectrum’s policies and minimize risk while maintaining fairnessDeliver training sessions to HR and business leaders on employee relations topics and serve as a consultant on best practicesCollaborate with business leaders, HR, Legal, Security and Internal Audit to address complex investigations and support audits as neededAnalyze case trends and advise leadership with strategic recommendations to proactively address underlying issuesSupport legal compliance by assisting with responses to regulatory agency charges and claims when necessaryManage special projects and participate in policy development and the implementation of employee relations procedures

Working Conditions

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum   

Required Qualifications   

Education  

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience   

7+ years of recent experience as a human resources professional5+ years of employee relations or human resources investigations experienceExperience facilitating training for various employee groups

Skills   

Ability to read, write, speak and understand EnglishStrong critical thinking and analytical abilitiesEffective prioritization and organizational skillsDemonstrated communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Education

Master’s degreePHR or SPHR certification strongly preferredCertification in Internal Investigations preferred
