**Posting Description**
We study employee interactions, trends and changes to better understand our employees' experiences. Usually, we begin with a question, challenge or idea related to our company's workforce trends. Your role involves taking those hypotheses and determining how to best understand them through structured research and data analysis.
As a Employee Insights Data Analyst, your primary responsibility will be gathering, analyzing, and presenting data about employee experience and workforce trends, in partnership with key stakeholders to deliver unique insights about the organization.
Our job is to dig into the trends, changes and nuances that exist amongst Consumer and Community Banking's global population. The journey often starts with a hypothesis or a question. Your job will be to collect, synthesize, and present data we need to dig in to key research topics, and to maintain responsibility for tracking and reporting on key metrics that inform senior leaders decision making processes.
Location: Jersey City, Columbus
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Act as the voice of the employee by supporting the design and implementation of our listening strategy and by providing high quality employee insights that HR and Business Leaders can leverage to influence the employee experience.
+ Conduct end-to-end analysis on large employee data sets to identify patterns/trends and answer questions/hypothesis about the employee experience and what influences it.
+ Turn data into easy to understand visuals that tell a story. Make complex ideas simple so leaders can act on them.
+ Be an expert project manager of all efforts you touch, delivering high quality work on time consistently
+ Ensure all appropriate data privacy, security, and controls requirements are incorporated into all processes
+ Maintain and expand partnerships with key stakeholders within the lines of business and at the firmwide level
**Required Qualifications, capabilities and skills**
+ 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a role involving extracting/ aggregating data and performing employee data analysis and storytelling
+ Advanced knowledge of analyzing both structured and unstructured data; managing and manipulate large data sets in Excel; quantitative and qualitative research
+ Ability to work to solve problems independently, remove barriers and propose solutions, i.e. taking a hypothesis, researching and coming back with a perspective
+ Ability to identify and communicate critical insights through appealing and concise reports and summaries
+ Strong partnership and consulting skills, ability to work with a variety of stakeholders and peers in order to get things done
+ Balance of intellectual curiosity with exceptional critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills; ability to absorb and present complex ideas quickly and accurately.
**Preferred Qualifications, capabilities and skills**
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Statistics, Data Science, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, or other Behavioral Sciences
+ 5+ years of specific HR systems experience.
+ Experience with R, Python or other statistical programming languages/software, Business Intelligence software and/or data wrangling tools such as Alteryx
+ Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or QlikView.
