Job Summary and Responsibilities
This position performs services under the employee health programs at one or more assigned facilities. The overall objective is to promote and maintain the health and safety of employees in an efficient and cost effective manner while maintaining confidentiality of services and records. The EH Wellness LVN acts as an advocate for the employee by ensuring access to employee health services and to other available programs that directly correlate to the wellbeing and safety of the employee while performing job duties at a CommonSpirt Health facility.
Utilizes nursing skills to perform pre-placement health screens, recognize symptoms and refer as appropriate.
Performs testing procedures, initiates appropriate interventions and referrals
Documents related to services provided.
Maintains and ensures confidentiality with employee health records
Collaborates with interdisciplinary departments including Infection Prevention, Human Resources, Occupational Health and Workers' Compensation to ensure regulatory, compliance and CommonSpirit Health policies are met.
Monitors and ensures annual employee requirements are within compliance standards
Provides post-exposure management and follow up for staff exposed to communicable diseases and bloodborne pathogens
Utilizes critical thinking nursing skills to ensure needs of clients are met appropriately
LVNs must work under the supervision of an RN or another clinician
May train other Employee Health staff as needed
Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing2 years clinical experienceEmployee or occupational health experience preferredRequired Licensure and Certifications
